Opera à la Carte 2025

Now in its second year, this exciting event by Opera Modesto raises essential funds for innovative youth programs like the Summer Opera Institute—empowering young artists through training, mentorship, and performance opportunities in the heart of California’s Central Valley.

Bianca Orsi

Adina

has performed across the U.S. and México in opera and concerts.  She made her Opera Modesto debut as Zamira in the world premiere of Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Fallen Giant. 

Chris Mosz Nemorino

makes his Opera Modesto debut as Nemorino in The Elixir of Love, following performances with Opera Santa Barbara, and Wexford Festival Opera.

Tori Adams

Giannetta

Makes her Opera Modesto debut as Giannetta in The Elixir of Love, with recent performances at Houston Grand Opera, Glimmerglass Festival, and Sioux City Symphony Orchestra.

Nathan Stark

Emcee

Hailing from Hughson, California, Mr. Stark has performed over 60 professional roles with opera houses throughout North America, including the Metropolitan Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Arizona Opera, Virginia Opera, Detroit Opera, Opera San Jose, Opera Modesto and many others.

Roman Guzman

Emcee

Roman Guzman is a seasoned comedian with over 20 years in the entertainment industry. As the energetic morning DJ on The River 105.5 in Modesto, California, his booming voice and quick wit have captivated the airwaves. 

Yeehaw! Western-style fun supporting our literacy and youth mentoring programs and acclaimed operas. Entertainment by our Elixir stars, raffles, buy-a-tableside serenade—and more! Dress the part and join the fun—Western wear is highly encouraged! Break out your favorite cowboy boots, hats, or fringe. Go all-out or add a subtle Western touch, either way we’d love for you to be part of the show and the atmosphere. The fancier, the better! Come enjoy favorite opera hits, musical theater favorites, and a little bit of Western too!
